Low self-esteem

Self-esteem is all about believing in yourself. When it is high, you are mentally resilient and strong, true to yourself while also respecting others.

Low self-esteem comes from holding deep seated and negative beliefs and thoughts about yourself. With low self-esteem, you may experience some of the following

•    You frequently criticise yourself
•    You feel generally unwanted and incomplete
•    You feel like a victim
•    You seem to have no choice or little control over your life
•    You have difficulty meeting people
•    You blame others for the way you feel

There are many other symptoms of low self-esteem. All of these are negative and one or more can prevent you from enjoying the world and moving forward in your life.

Through a safe, brief course of treatment, I can help you discover why you have these negative thoughts and feelings about yourself. Working together, we can change them into ones that make you feel good about who you are, respect yourself and stand up for what you believe in.
